What really kills me is that here,..I am looked upon as a radical. Among the conservative folk,..I am too liberal!
I believe that women should have the choice as to what they do with their own bodies,...here that makes me too liberal!! I don't believe that every girl HAS to get married and reproduce yearly..like a cow. I believe in committed marriages and honoring one's husband.
I have also taken the radical stance that one should care for one's elders. This I backed up by moving in with my mother-in-law and caring for her till she past away. Oh yeah,..among the liberals,..this makes me a radical,..I'm too conservative!!!
I had befriended a gay man,..a school teacher.. For a long time,..I bought his gay papers and books for him and gave them to him when we would occasionally have coffee. He had to worry about his job,..I did not.
When my mom and husband found out that I was doing this,..I had to talk to a minister and a priest. Was I infected with my friend's horrible condition?
By talking to the man,..I was being wicked? SNNNNRRRRCK!! Just how DARK AGES..can some people be? Tolerance is a dirty word..to some folks,.I guess.
