I do not reccomend three days in the hospital for anyone! I wanted to go to Houston, Texas, next month, and not into M---- City Hospital!! So far I have been blessed with the trip to the hospital, and I simply WON'T tell anyone the indignities inflicted upon my physical being while I was there to find out why I was hemoraging from a certain oriface of my body!! Never under any circumstances..throw up blood!

The whole outcome of this total lapse on the part of my body's immune system is that I am now on a low fat, salt free, low carb,..almost sugar free, high protein, high fiber, (..minus nuts, seeds, husks, stringy fiber, popcorn,..any TASTY) ...type diet!! I felt so bad about all of this that I sat right down and baked a whole platter of walnut brownies with chocolate chip and fudge icing,..and then watched Shawn and Bill demolish them!! :d

No more sweet treats and goodies!! There has GOT to be a better way to eat than this!!

I am going to plan on going to Houston, Texas if I can go! This would be for me the event of a lifetime! I just wish that I was not so tired!

"Kroczac Dumnie: Historia Nellie Zimmerman" is the Polish title of Stan Griffith's book review of Walking Free: The Nellie Zimmerman Story!! I got that much figured out from the International Deaf Website!

Good Lord! The rest of it looked like...POLISH...to me.

I could have turned it upside down or backwards to have had it make anymore sense to me as it does forwards!! I felt like I was in Parma, Ohio! (Very bad taste-less Ohio joke!)

I know there are some folks, who are probably not very impressed by this all..seeing this review of this little book getting translated into all of these languages,..but I know that somewhere..the now sighted-hearing spirit of a formerly little deaf-blind woman..is laughing and smiling at the thought that the memory of her is "WALKING FREE"....all the way round the whole "cotton-pickin'" world!!

For those,..who are not believing all of the things that I am telling you in this blog,..log onto www.workersforjesus.com and read the reviews in the different languages for..YOURSELF!

Google the title..WALKING FREE: THE NELLIE ZIMMERMAN STORY and see what you come up with on the google search engine.

Something is going on here that money cannot buy. I know what I think is happening, but I am not bold enough to yet put into words what I am feeling about all this.

I also know that this is the book that I was once told by someone..when Annie and I were writing the science fiction stories together,..this is the book that I was told.."did not exist!"

"The book that is not supposed to exist"..about an aging deaf-blind woman,.."who was to be locked away in a mental insititution forever"...is "WALKING FREE"..around the world..in many different languages!!

I can hardly wait to see what develops from the stage play and the movie script! Maybe, I won't still be alive if anything comes of it. Who knows? If not, I will be be Walking as Free as Nellie is,..in spirit, right now.

More than once,..she used to raise her sightless eyes to me and say in a very forceful way, "I will Walk Free."

I never understood what she meant,..then. I do understand..now!

"Options."


The magic word is "options."


What can the word,.."options,"..mean in all of its' forms and what shape can such a word later assume in the "stage script" for a story?

And if a stage play is developed,..what are the options that will be open to the company, which has bought those "options"..????

I always have admired folk, who could play around with words and I have always had an appreciation for what can be done with the English language,..but I am begining to think that all agents and such folks are worse than the "horse-traders" at the stock barn at the Kidron Auction!! Everyone has something to hide and something that they want to get from someone else!!

On both more positive and negative notes,..the Google Search Engine has come up with almost four pages of references to Walking Free,..the book review of the book is due out in the Spanish language version on the international website,.and Rosezelle is filling her second drawer in her file cabinet with what she calls.."fan letters!" Well,..she can have them. She keeps trying to get me to answer certain ones.

I just won't do it.

Giving the book talks,..I don't mind, but the other thing is just too close to what I had to hide from almost twenty some years ago. I never want to live through that again.

I do NOT want a replay of what took place in Crossville,..Tennessee over twenty years ago! The screaming and crying from that incident will live in my mind forever. That would almost be as bad as watching the Silver Bridge go....down...AGAIN! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!

I just about fell off my chair!

Today,..we sold the script for "Walking
Free: The Nellie Zimmerman story." I am so shocked that I can scarcely believe it!! All I need is "formal" confirmation from our agent,.."Tom!"


Yeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw!

Lizard Breath is no more. I will fill in the details later, perhaps. She was "just a cat," but also..a friend!

On a sunnier note,..the WALKING FREE book review just came out in another language at the www.workersforjesus.com website! Bill thinks that the language is Hungarian! I want to see the review done in French and German!

The local clerks at the grocery in Brewster made a great fuss about the book yesterday as hubby and I did our grocery shopping. I did not feel like dealing with the "you changed my life people" because I was upset over the death of my cat! I am glad this book is just a local thing...right now.

Another restaurant,..however,..has agreed to carry the Walking Free in their "gift Section!" I should be happy about that!
