Densmore Reid Publications,..I can't even count all the references!! Heh!

And now to move onto something new!!

There are no sure-fire "predictors" for the meaning or quality or quantity of anyone's life!!

Holy Batman strikes again! Walking Free: The Nellie Zimmerman Story has been written up in a book review in RUSSIAN on the www.workersforjesus.com website!!!

One only has to go look on the website for the Russian language version of "biographies of famous deaf people," and there it is:

a review of the life of my deaf blind friend..in RUSSIAN!!

I fell off my chair at the sight of this Cyrilic book review. I really did!!

I've been invited to write for a university level literature anthology. I am to contribute three articles to it!!

Does this mean that I am walking about in a daze?

YES.

I know I won't make a million dollars from this little endevour, but the idea sure doesn't make me cry!! Not once did anyone insinuate in the invitation that I don't think in complete thoughts or that I was too dumb to offer something of interest.

THE BLACK HEART BOOK...script has won the BRONZE AWARD at the Houston Film Festival 2005....so I have just heard...as of ten o'clock..last night!!!!

HEH! I'm not crying over THAT fact at ALL!

The Shiavo and Shindler families are still feuding!! Terri Shiavo is dead!! They certainly can't claim that they are STILL fighting for her benefit! Maybe,..in the beginning,..the fighting was for her and over her,..but to fight over her dead body?

I wonder if any of them have read Johnathan Swift's "A Modest Proposal????!!???"

With such rabid battling over the poor woman's remains,..I hope not!!

(Very bad joke in very poor "taste!!" But all the fighting and carrying on over this poor woman has been in even worse "taste" than my poor little joke!!)

Doctor Tim Cordes is totally blind. This morning..in the news, I read that he can do an intubation!! What else can this wonderful young man do?

I gotta have to go back and finish the news article about him!!

In a world where rehabilitation councilors are saying, "No! You don't have the ability to do this or that.."...Tim Cordes, or should I say DOCTOR Tim Cordes, is an inspiration!

DOCTOR Tim Cordes is TOTALLY blind.

And Dr. Cordes can do intubations and the whole "shmear!" Dr. Cordes has taken his MD and that, in itself,..is an accomplishment that many sighted "MD wanna-be's" don't accomplish!!

(Heavens No! I'm not blind but I have an intense empathy for folks,.who have learned to live without eye sight!!)

I was so astounded at reading the fact that this young man, aged twenty eight years,..made it through medical school..that I had to come and record it in my blog!!

Congratulations,..DOCTOR Cardes!! May you be the first of many more folks just like you!

Is Ohio the only place that this could happen?

And I kid you not,..this did happen!!

An Ohio woman began to give birth to her baby. Having no nearby help,..she got into her van and and began her long trip to the hospital by herself. She didn't make it to the hospital as the baby started to come,..fast and furious, so she pulled into a gas station,..gave birth to the baby,..and then,..was on her way to the hospital again.

Someone looked into the van and saw the new born baby. Instead of calling an ambulance,..this individual or these individuals..called the police!! The police stopped the van and made the new mama get out of the van....AT GUN POINT!!

(Ya know how vicious those new mothers are!! What with the afterbirth and all,..the new mama might have tried to strangle those poor cops with the umbilical cord!!)

The police let the woman go on to the hospital!! Sadly enough, the baby is in intensive care!!

I hope that this is viewed more as a sad circumstance..than as police brutality!!
