Yesterday was a very good day with the parade and the crowd of folks, who came to see it!! After the parade,..the family gathered for hot dogs and hamburgers and a good deal of friendly chatter. The gathering was nothing fancy, but it sufficed for us!!

Shawn joined us for lunch. He and Bill ate their dinner in front of the TV of course as they watched their favorite videos. Out of about thirty hamburgers,..I won't say how many the guys put away, but neither of them said a word about the fact that as a part of my diet strategy, I made the hamburgers about one third smaller than I usually make them!!

I played on the web-TV unit and goofed off most of the afternoon after hubbie left to take Bill to work. I am still looking up more information on my "Mary Sue" and "Marty Stu" stuff. After my last adventure on a certain board,..I will make no attempt to write ANYTHING, but will be a dedicated lurker!!

I do believe that no matter HOW friendly I feel towards anyone on the internet, I don't think that I will ever be so naive again as I was on the scifi board. A young lady,..I met there,..sent me her picture the other day. I immdediately deleted it from my e-mail and I told her never to send pictures over the net! I hope that she NEVER has to worry about what I had to worry about!!
