....the Deaf have been having kids and raising them for years!! I won't even go into the horror stories that some Deaf folks have had to face!!

(I don't consider myself a "true Deaf" as I can hear music and the voices of the other folks around me and only have periodic losses of sound d/t my ear and sinus infections! O-k! Most of the time I don't catch all of the words that are spoken,..but I can get the sounds of the voices!)

To be threatened with the loss of your kid..'cause you are blind!! To think that you might lose your child because of your disability!!

No wonder so MANY high functioning dis-ABLES hide their dis-ABILITIES.
