What would the world be like without the busy tongues of those, who never saw what happened, but their opinions make them experts on subjects, that they love to talk about even though they weren't there when "it' happened! ...Mrs. Mose Troyer had the misfortune of being elected of our local antiabortion society. She has two children,..under the age of three,..and one baby in a cart,..carriage for "non-residents of our noble village," and four more, all under the age of twelve.
..By the time the local gossips get through with this poor lady,..everyone will be saying that she is a "woman, who sleeps around for a living,"..that all of her children will have different fathers, and her husband will be a poker card-playing, beer drinking drunker, who hangs out in the bars in Massillon, Ohio and does not come home till after eleven o'clock at night!!
None of this will be true,..mind you, but it will give so many of my neighbors so much wonderful stuff to talk about!!
...Heh! All one must do is be accused of doing something, and in a bigot's mind,..guilt is not just assumed, but confirmed!!
