I went back and looked at the theme of "inflicting pain on others,'" which runs through the "clone ranger" fictions. I, also,..checked out the ideas of sado-masachism,..that Dr. Hostetler talked about in my recent abnormal pyschology course. The correlation, between the urge to write out such fantasies and to act them out, is very high indeed.
..Dr. Hostetler puts such "pain-inflicting" urges in the same catagory as the acting out that serial killers do when they torture small animals,..according to my notes from the doc's class,..one and the same thing!!! I have the psychology book right here in front of me.
..Gaaads! When I have asked this PhD, who has helped with many criminal cases here in Stark county,..just what he thinks the ratio is between acting out "torture-murder" scenarios and writing about them,..I will seek a means of......(finish this line of thought tomorrow...and start a new idea...)
..According to the Doc,..whose credentials include criminal psychology,..the blunting of one's own emotions to the point that detailed expession can be made as to the happenings in such stories...(again..have to go will finish this line of thought later,. as I have more new ideas to put down and limited time!!!!)
